A Fun hike on Trail #12 in Sutton
A rainy day in early October could not slow down this crew. Starting at the base of the Kearsarge Link Trail we hiked West from Kearsarge Valley road to Gile Pond and the Shadow Hill Forest in Sutton.
The twelve of us then worked our way over Music Hill and to the base of Corporation Hill. This photo was then taken on Wadleigh Hill Road bridge with Mt. Kearsarge in the clouds behind. We finished at Wadleigh State Park and Kezar Lake — just starting to rain as we got to our cars.
Most of us then met up for coffee and cocoa at the Vernondale Store. An excellent afternoon on the Sunapee Ragged Kearsarge Greenway!
