White Ledges for Lunch

The Fall Walkabout Series starts off with a fabulous hike up to Lake Solitude and Mt Sunapee.

We had a small group on Saturday that hiked Trail #1 Newbury Harbor to Old Province Road.  Kate Gordon, Patricia Denny, Lian Baer, Elias Baer and Nick Baer.  The overcast morning gave way to partly sunny and windy conditions in the mid-60’s, a great hiking day.  A stop at White Ledges overlooking Lake Solitude was a great lunch stop before continuing to the summit.

Join us for the next hike in the SRK Fall Series:
Trail #2 Starting on Old Provence Road in Sunapee and hiking North to the Sunapee Town Offices. 7.3 miles Moderate Difficulty. Please contact Ron Wyman  dsunapee@aol.com  763-5822
